About the Farm
Background
Just getting started, the farm is situated on a tall grass prairie that flows into a saline wetland, featuring at least three discovered springs. The farm's name is inspired by these unique ecosystems.
Practices
Utilizing Holistic Management and Permaculture, the farm aims to foster biodiversity through heirloom varieties and companion planting in gardens, stacking heritage breeds of beef and Guernsey dairy cattle in pastures, and following with free-ranging laying hens and broiler pens. The farm also encourages diverse habitats in the wild areas.

Visitors are welcome to bird watch on the wetland, pet chicks and calves, and see the farm's progress.
