Danda Farms LLC

Established in 1946 by Dan and Grace Martin, the farm is now in its second generation with third and fourth generations involved. David Martin transitioned to organic farming in the early 1990s due to concerns about chemical use, achieving Certified Organic status three years later.

The farm adheres to organic farming principles, avoiding antibiotics, synthetic hormones, pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides. They raise their animals on pasture, ensuring humane treatment and high-quality products. The farm also engages in organic crop farming on several farms north of Harrisburg, PA.

The farm store is open three days a week year-round, offering a variety of organic products including beef, poultry, pork, eggs, and dairy. They also provide grass-fed raw milk and dairy products from Country Sunrise Creamery. The Martin family, consisting of David and Robbin Martin, their 14 children, and 39 grandchildren, are deeply involved in the farm's operations.
