About the Farm
Background
Founded by long-time farmer and Columbia Basin resident Jim Baird in 2006, the farm expanded to Ephrata in the spring of 2012. Over the years, it has built strong relationships with schools, farmers markets, restaurants, and community members in the Basin.
Practices
The farm grows all of its food without the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides, emphasizing a commitment to healthier food and soil.
The Rest
The farm is a 501(c)3 non-profit and participates in community projects like the Ephrata Farmers Market and Healthy Community Ephrata project. It is open to public visitation by appointment during seasonal operation hours and during public events.
