Clapping Trees Farm

Located in Locust Grove, GA, this small family farm is known for its commitment to land stewardship and adherence to organic principles and protocols.

The farm raises pastured poultry, allowing chickens to range freely throughout the day within a mobile fencing system that covers a 10,000 square foot area. This fence is moved on a rotating basis to provide the birds with fresh grass and to maintain the health of the land. The chickens' diet consists of bugs, grass, seeds, and worms, supplemented with Countryside Organics certified organic, soy-free chicken feed. No hormones, antibiotics, or vaccinations are administered to the birds, ensuring they remain healthy and produce nutrient-dense eggs.

Eggs are sold at $5 per dozen. The farm also distributes Countryside Organics Soy-Free feed, including layer feed ($35 per 50 lb bag) and broiler and chick/starter feeds ($37.50 per 50 lb bag). Visitors are welcome, and contact information is available for directions and inquiries.
