Rooted in a legacy of cattle ranchers from west Texas and homesteaders from western Oklahoma, the farm has always prioritized quality over quantity. Livestock, including sheep, lambs, goats, and kids, have access to outdoor pastures in Montana's Shields Valley for their entire lives, drinking from a pristine creek flowing from the Crazy Mountains. Natural weaning is practiced, allowing mothers and offspring to decide when they are ready.
