About the Farm
Background
Beginning with an indenture dated July 27, 1791, Nicholas Worley and seven subsequent Worley generations have owned and operated the family farm in the southeastern section of Columbus County, adjacent to the South Carolina-North Carolina state line. The farm celebrates its 230th anniversary in producing quality crops and livestock.
Practices
The farm strives to provide farm fresh produce on a seasonal basis. Everything grown is harvested and sold directly on the farm. On occasions when natural disasters occur, products from other reliable and respectable local farmers may be offered, with full disclosure to customers.
The Rest
The farm is located in Columbus County, North Carolina, between Fair Bluff and Tabor City on Highway 904, just one mile from the South Carolina line. They specialize in fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, watermelons, cantaloupes, squash, zucchini, onions, and celery. Customers are encouraged to follow the farm on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.
