About the Farm
Background
Located just half an hour south of Portland, this dairy farm became the first raw dairy in the nation to be listed by the Raw Milk Institute, making its test results and farm management plan publicly available.
Practices
The farm practices intense rotational grazing, moving the cows to fresh grass every 24 hours. They supplement the cows' diet with alfalfa and grass hay, and provide less than one percent of their bodyweight in rolled barley.
The Rest
Visitors can check the farm store hours on the website to pick up raw milk and meet one of the farmers. Monthly tours of the milking parlor are available for current customers.
