About the Farm
Background
Located in Bozrah, Connecticut, this small farm has become known for its diverse range of products including raw milk, eggs, meats, and seasonal produce. They also operate a small CSA, providing fresh, locally-grown food to their community.
Practices
The farm raises grass-fed beef that rotationally grazes during the summer and is fed farm-made hay in the winter. Veal is hand-raised in a safe and humane manner. Pigs roam freely in and out of the barn, while chickens are fed locally produced grains and have access to pasture. Although not certified organic, the farm follows organic practices for produce, using OMRI-listed sprays sparingly and fertilizing with composted manure from their dairy herd.
The Rest
Products available include strawberries, potatoes, carrots, veal, onions, raw milk, tomatoes, beef, peppers, radishes, eggs, cauliflower, pork, and poultry.
