Bittnerbees

Rick became interested in bees in 1978 when he caught his first swarm and has since become a top resource for local and migratory honey, beekeeping supplies, and beauty products. Rick and Julie met in 1998 and married at a Farmer Market in 2010. They are professional migratory beekeepers and one of the largest in Northeast Ohio. They have been featured in the Food Guide and have won various ribbons at county and country fairs.

Rick and Julie raise their own bees, work them personally, and handle their own extractions. They make their products and build most of their own equipment. They take their bees to Florida for the winter, where they produce Orange Blossom and Palmetto Honey.

Their honey and beeswax beauty products are available for online ordering or at local Farmers' Markets in Ohio and Florida. They participate in a variety of Farmers' Markets and events, and their honeys change with the seasons.
