About the Farm
Background
Farming for twenty-five years, the owner moved from Maine to Ohio in 2009 and has been part of the local foods community in North East Ohio since 2010. Known for providing top quality produce to restaurants and vending at farmer's markets in coastal New England since 1995.
Practices
Currently, about 4 acres are in production with another six acres in cover crops or fallow. The farm practices a very low/no till style of farming and is USDA certified organic through OEFFA since 2010. They use row covers and high tunnels to extend the growing season.
The Rest
Specializes in gourmet varieties of lettuce and greens, squash, peas, root crops, potatoes, garlic, beans, tomatoes, cole crops, onions, cut flowers, and a long list of culinary herbs. Offers CSA memberships, farmers market vending, online orders, and expert consulting.
