About the Farm
Background
Located in the bottomlands of the Mississippi and Missouri river confluence, this five-acre farm is managed by Nolan, his wife Ally, and their friend Brennan. They are known for providing fresh, local, homegrown produce to the St. Charles community.
Practices
Employing a variety of farming methods such as dry farming, French intensive, no-till, and permaculture, the farm emphasizes soil health and sustainability. Chickens are truly pasture-raised, fed organic feed, and rotated biweekly using a mobile chicken coop and electric poultry netting.
The Rest
Produce is available for sale at the St. Charles Farmer's Market on Riverview Rd. The farm's motto, 'Health begins in the soil,' underscores their commitment to soil health and quality produce.
