Big Sky Jacob Sheep

Raising registered heritage breed Jacob Sheep since 2007, the farm originally operated under the name of 'Mud Ranch' in the far northern reaches of the State of Jefferson, California. Recently, the flock has been relocated to Columbia Falls due to the owner's business move.

The farm maintains a flock of 20 ewes and one ram, down from a previous count of around 45 ewes and 4 rams. All animals are treated without chemicals, utilizing herbs and essential oils for health and maintenance.

The farm offers lambs in the spring, naturally raised locker lamb in the fall, and consistently has breeding stock, pet quality animals, meat animals, and raw wool available.
