About the Farm

Background

Located in the woods of Lincoln, MA, the farm has a long history as a horse farm, originally built in 1996 by Roberta and George Berry. It served as the home for Friends For Tomorrow, run by Diane Lesneski, before being reimagined into a professional dressage facility.

Practices

The farm follows sustainable practices, though it cannot claim to be entirely organic. Pest management decisions prioritize the welfare of the bees from the on-site hives. The farm has not had to spray for insects yet, but the potential arrival of the spotted wing drosophila may change that.

The Rest

The farm features 3.5 acres of blueberries, including varieties like Bluecrop, Blueray, Coville, and Elliot, and is experimenting with a row of thornless blackberries. It also offers limited amounts of honey and has a small planting of cut-your-own Christmas trees, mostly white pine and a few scotch pines. Visitors are encouraged to call or check the website for hours before visiting.
