About the Farm
Background
Don Baird started growing apples in 1979, and before the advent of farmers markets, he, his wife Kathy, and their two young children, Trevor and Jennifer, would sell their apples to Portland police officers and judges. Today, Don and Trevor continue to cultivate a wide range of fruits and nuts with the help of close friends and extended family, bringing their produce to many farmers markets in Oregon.
Practices
The farm focuses on growing a diverse array of stone fruits and nuts, including apples, peaches, cherries, nectarines, pluots, and hazelnuts. The emphasis is on quality and variety, ensuring that the produce is both delicious and abundant.
The Rest
Customers can find their fruits, nuts, and jams at local farmers markets in Oregon and online. The farm's presence at these markets allows for direct interaction with the community, offering fresh produce and homemade jams.
