About the Farm
Background
In September 2016, the owners moved from a small in-town property to a 5-acre property, and by June 2019, they relocated again to an 8.25-acre property featuring a 100-year-old farmhouse and barn. The farm now includes woods, a creek, mature fruit trees, grape vines, a strawberry patch, and an asparagus patch.
Practices
The farm adheres to all-natural and non-GMO practices, incorporating as many regenerative agriculture practices as possible. Regenerative agriculture is a system designed to increase biodiversity, enrich soils, improve watersheds, and enhance ecosystem services, while also capturing carbon in soil and biomass to reverse atmospheric accumulation trends. This approach draws from organic farming, agroecology, holistic management, and agroforestry.
The Rest
The farm offers a variety of products including vegetables, microgreens, pastured eggs, and a complete line of all-natural vitamins, supplements, weight management products, skin care, and non-toxic household cleaners. They also provide gardening, cooking, and preserving classes, and plan to offer farm tours. Their CSA program runs from June to October, offering weekly baskets of in-season vegetables with options for half or full shares. The farm maintains a presence on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
