About the Farm
Background
Situated on 130 acres of green pasture, the farm is operated by the fourth and fifth generation of Austins. Originally a dairy farm, it has transitioned to raising beef, with a focus on selling whole and half sides of beef, as well as beef cuts from their farm store and at farmers markets.
Practices
Cattle are raised naturally on green pasture, fed hay, silage, and fresh water, without the use of hormones or feed additives. The farm emphasizes traditional methods and family dedication in its operations.
The Rest
The farm offers USDA inspected meat products and hosts activities and events for the whole family, including pick-your-own pumpkins, a corn maze, and a Story Book Trail for kids. Additional services include manure for composting, livestock transportation, hay for sale, and cattle buying or selling. The farm also provides a variety of beef cuts, such as tenderloin roast, porterhouse steak, rib roast, and hamburger, among others.
