Asbury UMC Farm

The community garden operates under the youth department of Asbury Methodist Church, a church with a rich history dating back to 1986 when it was founded in a small warehouse in Madison, Alabama. Over the years, Asbury has grown into a multi-site church known for its diverse worship services and strong community involvement.

Operated entirely by volunteers, the garden welcomes anyone with a passion for gardening and a heart for helping others. The produce grown in the garden is donated to agencies that provide food for the hungry, embodying the church's mission of loving and caring for the community.

The garden is part of a broader mission by Asbury Methodist Church to live generously and foster authentic relationships within the community. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to participate, making it a multigenerational effort to combat food insecurity.
