About the Farm
Background
Glenn and Leslie Anderson have been running the almond operation since 1980, when they returned to the land that has been in their family for five generations. The farm has been featured in The Guardian, PEOPLE magazine, on National Public Radio, and in Fatal Harvest - The Tragedy of Industrial Agriculture.
Practices
The farm is a pioneer of organic farming in the San Joaquin Valley, benefiting from the ideal Mediterranean climate and irrigation water from the melting snow pack of the Sierra Nevada. The almonds are grown on 18 acres of certified organic land, ensuring high-quality, raw, unpasteurized produce.
The Rest
The farm welcomes visitors by appointment and offers tours of the surrounding area. They are committed to direct sales, shipping their almonds directly from the farm to customers across the United States with free shipping.
