About the Farm
Background
Albritton Fruit Co has been synonymous with citrus in Southwest Florida for decades. In November 2013, they expanded by opening a fresh produce market behind their Grove Store, featuring a variety of local items. Established in 1880, the company has a long-standing reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.
Practices
The market sources local honey from My Sweetest Honey in Fruitville, milk and dairy products from Dakin Dairy in Myakka City, and Jersey Girls Raw Milk from the Alday Farm in Ona. They also offer produce from Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties, and carry natural or organic eggs as available.
The Rest
In addition to fresh produce, the market stocks many grocery items, including some organic products like olive oil. They also offer U-Pick blueberries at Albritton Fruit Farm, providing a hands-on experience for customers.
