About the Farm
Background
Established in the 1840s, the farm has a long history with its original farmhouse and barns still standing. Currently operated by Connie Adams and her husband John, it has focused on vegetables and flowers, offering CSA shares for a 20-week growing season from June through October.
Practices
The farm employs USDA Certified organic practices, avoiding pesticides, GMOs, and herbicides. Committed to sustainable agriculture, it provides nutritious, locally grown products. Members of CISA and NOFA/Mass, the farm emphasizes organic and sustainable methods.
The Rest
CSA shares include pick-your-own garden access, farm tours, and use of walking trails and picnic areas along the Manhan River. Membership options cater to different family sizes and budgets, with flexible pick-up days. The farm also offers a payment plan to make CSA shares more affordable. Annual Open Farm Day invites the community to explore and engage with the farm.
