About the Farm

Background

Wolfscratch Farm was converted from an equestrian center to a working farm and CSA in 2010. Initially started to live more sustainably and grow their own produce, the farm has grown to feed over 60 families through its CSA and workershare program. The farm is dedicated to land stewardship and aims to leave the land, soil, and animals in better condition than they were found.

Practices

Wolfscratch Farm employs a blend of biodynamic, organic, and permaculture practices to maintain soil and farm biodiversity. The farm avoids chemicals, focusing instead on naturally grown food that benefits both the environment and human health. They are currently converting the farm into a permaculture design to work in harmony with nature.

The Rest

The farm has an active CSA and workershare program, emphasizing community outreach and education. They host events and shindigs throughout the year to celebrate their harvests and engage with their extended CSA family. Visitors are encouraged to stop by, get their hands dirty, and learn more about sustainable farming practices.
