About the Farm
Background
Established with a focus on providing quality produce, the farm begins its season in May with asparagus and continues through the summer with strawberries, cherries, and peaches. The fall season kicks off in September with apple picking and the production of fresh unpasteurized cider on a 125-year-old press. The farm has become known for its homemade pies, fresh fudge, caramel apples, and a variety of baked goods. An annual Apple Festival in October celebrates the farm's birthday with live music, local arts, crafts, and artisan vendors.
Practices
The farm emphasizes the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, bringing produce directly from the field to the kitchen to create gourmet products. They make their own apple cider vinegar from fresh-pressed apple cider in the fall, ensuring high quality and authenticity in their offerings.
The Rest
Visitors can enjoy a range of activities including hayrides, a corn maze, train rides, pony rides, and the longest zip line in Southwest Michigan. The farm also offers a variety of unique gifts, jams, jellies, and Amish goods in their Country Store. Tours are available by appointment during the week, and a Snack Shop operates on weekends selling concession foods like the 1/2 pound Wagon Wrecker hot dog. The farm also caters for events and offers wholesale pricing for bakery items.
