Following the farming philosophy of Joel Salatin, Sunset Ranch employs a pasture-centered approach that emphasizes the natural behaviors and well-being of the animals. The farm raises 100% grass-fed and finished beef, with cows foraging year-round on diverse grasses. Chickens, including free-ranging hens and Cornish Cross meat birds, roam daily on pasture. Pigs rotate through wooded forest land, consuming a natural diet of pine cones, twigs, grass, and bugs. The farm uses no chemicals, and all livestock are raised without genetically modified grains, antibiotics, or routine medications.
