North Slope Farm

For over 25 years, NorthSlopeFarm has served the community with fresh, local, organically grown produce and farm products. Co-managed by Colleen Harrington and Mike Rassweiler since 2020, the farm has established itself as a reliable source of high-quality organic produce in Central New Jersey.

The farm manages its 8-acre market garden, surrounding fields, and woodlot with a strong commitment to ecological stewardship. This includes organic farming methods that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable resource management. The farm also advocates for traditional farming practices, including the cultivation of sungrown cannabis, which they believe can be a profitable crop for small farmers without the need for energy-intensive infrastructure.

NorthSlopeFarm operates a Wednesday Farmstand from May through September and participates in the West Windsor Community Farmers Market. They also offer educational resources on sustainable agricultural methods and support other regional, environmentally responsible businesses and projects. The farm encourages community engagement through its email newsletter and provides updates on crop availability and farm events.
