About the Farm
Background
The farm's CSA is in its 16th year, showcasing a long-standing commitment to community-supported agriculture. With 24+ acres in cultivation, the farm has grown to include four greenhouses and one high tunnel.
Practices
Adhering to the standards of MOFGA and USDA Organics, the farm employs naturally grown methods. The emphasis on grass-fed beef and locally grown and produced meats, eggs, and cheeses highlights a commitment to ethical animal husbandry and local sourcing. The farm's seasonal operation, from May 20 to November 1, aligns with the natural growing cycles, ensuring the freshest produce and products.
The Rest
The farm market offers a variety of items, from spring seedlings and early vegetables to late-season harvests. Additionally, they produce and sell their own line of jams, pickles, chowders, stews, and soups. Open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM, the farm also provides mail order services, supporting local businesses and fostering a sense of community.
