About the Farm

Background

Located in Northbridge, Massachusetts, this 75-acre farm is family-owned and operated by the Ken Foppema family. Since 1998, they have been growing and selling produce from a beautiful post and beam building. Known for their wide variety of fruits and vegetables, they have become a staple in the community, offering fresh produce from June through October.

Practices

The farm employs Integrated Pest Management (IPM) methods for insect and weed control, striving to use organic methods whenever possible. This approach minimizes the use of chemicals and promotes a healthier ecosystem. They are active members of several agricultural associations.

The Rest

Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of produce, including strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, sweet corn, tomatoes, and lettuce, among others. The farmstand operates from June through October, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They also participate in farmer's markets at Copley Square in Boston and Natick Common. The farm accepts various forms of payment, including SNAP, and participates in the Healthy Incentive Program (HIP).
