Black Bear Country Farms

Black Bear Country Farms began in rural New Jersey, specifically in Sussex County, a region known for its rolling hills and forested mountains. Despite being in a state with a dense population, Sussex County remains a beautiful and sparsely populated area. The farm continues the tradition of homesteading and has become known for its select all-natural poultry and other farm products.

The farm raises its all-natural turkeys and chickens on a small farm in Sussex County for about eight weeks before moving them to the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. These free-range birds are processed by hand in small volumes under USDA inspection, ensuring high quality and taste. The farm emphasizes traditional homesteading practices and careful, hands-on methods in their poultry production.

In addition to poultry, the farm offers handmade Amish-style furniture, all-natural candles free from paraffin wax, and seasonal treats such as candied and caramel apples. They also provide all-natural eggs, maintaining a diverse range of products for their customers.
