Wildwood Garden Club Meeting Speaker Bart Alcorn of Eddy Fruit Farm

Eddy Fruit Farm, Chesterland, Ohio. Bart Alcorn, market/tour manager, will share the history about this family owned, fourth generation apple/fruit farm, started in 1869. Samples of some of the apples grown will be provided by Eddy’s.
Program is free and open to the public. Registration is required; 440-622-5631.
Our purpose is to enhance the gardens of Wildwood Cultural Center for generations to come as well as to promote friendship and community among people with a common interest in gardening, flower arranging, and conservation.
The Wildwood Garden Club was established 1984 and will be celebrating it’s 40th anniversary in 2024. A mile stone and a great accomplishment by all our members past, present and future.
The Garden Club meets at Wildwood Cultural Center on the third Wednesday of each month, September through June. Meetings consist of a free gardening programs, or similar topics, followed by a business meeting and lunch. Monthly programs are free and open to the public.
Two fundraising projects that Wildwood Garden Club sponsors are the ”Holiday Boutique”, the first Sunday in December, and the ”Spring Plant Sale”, the beginning of May, both are held at the Wildwood Culture Center.
Other member activities include a December Holiday Luncheon and member’s Installation of Officers Luncheon, held in June.
