This event is currently invite-only! We will open for general admission September 18th and at the door, but for now, VIP tickets are only available to attendees who have been invited by a member of the filmmaking team. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Join us for the Humboldt/Arcata premiere of WEED & WINE, a feature documentary from Emmy-nominated filmmaker, Rebecca Richman Cohen and executive produced by Berner!
In addition to a screening of the film at 6pm, there will be a filmmaker talkback with Rebecca, Berner, legendary cannabis cultivator Kev Jodrey (whose work and family are profiled in the film), and Eric Phillips-Horst (co-producer and DP).
The screening will be immediately followed by a cannabis and wine friendly after party celebration that will also serve as a kickoff fundraiser for the sequel film, which we hope to begin filming in 2025!

About the film: Kev and his son Cona are descendants of outlaws who labored to make themselves legal purveyors of sun-grown, craft cannabis in Humboldt County, California. In the south of France, Hélène and her son Aurélien produce renowned, biodynamic wines on a vineyard that they’ve fought for centuries to keep in their family. In this sumptuous and moving film, Emmy-nominated filmmaker, Rebecca Richman Cohen, parallels the profound joys and deep uncertainties of two farming families as they fight to protect their legacy, their craft, and their land.
