About the Event

As seen on WGN TV, CBS Chicago, Fox News and NBC 5 Chicago - changing lives for local low income senior citizens & veterans KINDNESS MATTERS

As seen on WGN TV, CBS Chicago, Fox News and NBC 5 Chicago:

Our Adopt A Grandparent Programs provide kindness and support for low-income senior citizens and veterans who may not have friends and family to support them.

Our Adopt A Grandparent Garden & Farmer’s Market program provides fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers to our participating seniors/veterans as many struggle with the high cost of groceries.

This year Home Depot is sponsoring the garden part of our program, but we simply cannot grow enough to cover our programs needs. We depend heavily on the support of our community to make our programs successful.

We grow fresh produce and along with donations from the community, our team & volunteers set up FREE Farmers Markets at the low income senior living facilities where they can “shop” for healthy food choices!

We must raise $400.00 to cover the cost for food that is distributed at each market. Market’s run from July through September and we serve between 100 and 150 people per market.

Fisher Outreach Group is a 501(c)(3), 100% Volunteer based Non-Profit Organization. That means that no one earns a salary or financial compensation for running our organization and 100% of any funds/items donated go directly to the programs we offer.

Your donations make our programs possible and allow us to continue to spread love and kindness to those who may need it the most.

Monetary donations can be made via: Zelle to fisheroutreachgroup@yahoo.com
