Momentum is Building - Our mission is to provide a forum for energy efficiency and electric technology education.

Momentum is Building is an annual conference to promote energy efficiency, gain better building skills and tips of the trade, network with exhibitors and attendees, learn new ways to improve your business, and earn up to 6 CEUs for electricians, plumbers and HVAC pros. This year’s speakers have new business practices and strategies to complement your high-performance projects!

Exhibiting at the 2025 Momentum is Building Conference provides an opportunity for contact with HVAC contractors, plumbers, homebuilders, electricians, and electric cooperative marketing and member service professionals. Our attendees are actively seeking information about new products and services they can put to work in their local businesses. Last year, there were nearly 125 attendees.

We give exhibitors plenty of opportunity to meet attendees. We will hold a continental breakfast and a lengthy afternoon break in the exhibit area, as well as a reception on Thursday evening. Exhibitors also get a few minutes on the program right before Thursday's lunch to discuss any new products or programs. All exhibit opportunities are on Thursday and Friday, February 20 - 21, 2025. We invite your representatives to attend sessions and stay both days to participate in all of the conference sessions!

  • Setup is available at the exhibit hall on Wednesday afternoon, February 19, 2025.
  • Exhibiting is Thursday and Friday, February 20 - 21, 2025.
  • We appreciate your response prior to January 15, 2024 so we may be sure to have adequate space and tables for all vendors and prepare for meals.

What is your refund policy?

Due to financial commitments for Momentum is Building, we cannot refund registration fees for cancellations after February 13, 2025. ​Eventbrite’s fee is non-refundable. Contact the event organizer to request a refund.

Who do I contact about receiving a refund/cancelling a reservation for the event?

Registrations for attendees made via telephone or mail, please contact Ryan Cornelius at ryan.cornelius@cbpower.coop. If your registration and payment were submitted online for either attendees or exhibitors, you may cancel online anytime and receive a full refund through February 13, 2025.

What parking is available for the event?

The Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel has plenty of free, onsite parking available for all attendees and exhibitors.

Do students and/or instructors need to purchase meals?

No, the meals are included in the (free) registration. Approval for students and instructors is required by the Momentum is Building planning committee. Contact Suzanne Hull if you have any questions!

What is the earliest we may set up our booth in the exhibitor hall?
