About the Event

Help out at one of REC UGROW's School Garden sites! Weed and clean up the hillside pollinator garden at Jacob Hiatt Magnet School.

The REC School Gardens network supports 34 school gardens throughout Worcester. You can support by helping at Jacob Hiatt Magnet to weed out our pollinator hillside, and plant some beautiful pollinator plants! No gardening experience is needed.

All tools and equipment will be provided. Please be prepared to get dirty and wear close-toed shoes!

FYI: This work will take place on a relatively steep grade.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: I f you are driving, please park in the lot located at 136 Murray Ave across from the back of the school!
