About the Event

Identifying Native Medicinal Plants in MI with Heart & Soul Naturals
Join Heart & Soul Naturals for an informative and hands on class, that will teach you to identify native medicinal plants that grow right here in Michigan!
So many beautiful plants that most consider “weeds”, have numerous wonderful medicinal benefits! Many can be found right in your own backyards.
We want to help you learn how to identify them, teach you what they can be used for AND how to process them into herbal medicine OR store them for later use.
We will be bringing in samples of each plant for you to see, touch and smell, to help you feel more comfortable and confident foraging for them on your own.
Some plants that we may be working with are: Cleavers, Plantain, Yarrow, Ground Ivy, Purple Dead Nettle, Stinging Nettle and MANY MORE!
We will still be offering a Make n Take portion to this event as well! It will however, work just a little differently than normal.
This time around we will be making tinctures or herbal extracts, but of your choice!
You can choose to make (2) 4oz jars of your very own tinctures, for $25
OR
You can choose to make (4) 4oz jars of your very own tinctures for $50
