Harford County Farm Fair Chef's Challenge

The 2024 Harford County Farm Fair Chef's Challenge is ON! and will be held on Monday, July 22, beginning at 6 pm in the Main Pavilion.

Participation is limited to 6 teams who will compete for Cash Prizes and Bragging Rights! The competition may be divided into Pro and Amateur Classes, depending on the teams that respond. Participation is assigned on a First-Come First-Served Basis.

Harford County Chefs and Gourmands are challenged to test their skills against the Chefs at
111 Main and The Local restaurants in Bel Air
The Guarino Family is scheduled to compete for the 3rd year!

The Fair will accept 3 more teams. Register, today, by sending an email to HarcoFarmFair@gmail.com with the subject line "Chef's Challenge".

A member of the Chef's Challenge Committee will contact you to confirm your participation in the event.

We are looking for Volunteer Judges and Committee Members to assist with set-up, collecting ingredients (including SURPRISE ingredients) and clean-up.

Sponsors of the Chef's Challenge are Grand View Farm in Forest Hill (the meats!); Kirk's Farm Produce in Forest Hill (the veggies!) Peppers and Pots in Forest Hill (the spiciest!) and Independent Brewing in Bel Air (the Cold Brews!)

The Chef's Challenge Committee is chaired by Christina Thompson, local gourmand, and Aimee O'Neill.

The public are invited to attend and observe, up-close and personal, the culinary feats of prowess.
