About the Event
Come celebrate the harvest season at Spice Acres and taste nature’s bounty prepared over a hardwood grill! Walk the 13-acre farm in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park as you hear from the Spice Kitchen team the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of sustainable agriculture. We will experience a hardwood grilling demo on the farm with Chef Ben Bebenroth with seasonal delights and then connect over the food prepared family style. All Forward is passionate about spotlighting and support local nonprofits. Ben will top off the evening by sharing how Spice Field Kitchen, 501(c)3, is changing how people connect with food and how you can be a part of this movement. For those outdoor enthusiasts who need to move, All Forward will offer an optional guided hike on the Buckeye Trail prior to the Spice Acres experience.
Date: Thursday, August 1, 5:00-8pm. (with optional hike starting at 3:00)
Experience Includes: Intro/closing, Optional Guided Hike, Spice Acres Tour, Hard Wood Cooking Demo, Family Style Dinner, Beverages, 1 year complimentary membership to the Conservancy for the CVNP.
