Join Friends of Franklin Parks at the inaugural Franklin Family Splash & Dash on June 15, 2024, celebrating the connectivity between the parks and trails system! This community event will feature a running and biking portion with an optional float down the Harpeth River. It will start and end at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm.
This event is a combination of a float, run/walk and bike.
There are two routes for the run/walk: 1 mile fun run or a 5k. When signing up, please select which you plan on participating in. We will have signs on the route to help direct you.
The race will start and end at Harlinsdale. If you choose to participate in the float, you will convoy to the drop off point (Pinkerton) from Harlinsdale. There will be a volunteer with a trailer to help get boats from Harlinsdale to Pinkerton. The optional float will begin at 7:30am. Meet the float crew at Harlinsdale and convoy down to Pinkerton Park to start the float. Take out will be at Harlinsdale. There will be a volunteer with a trailer to help get boats to Pinkerton.
The run/walk begins at 9am at the bridge at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. After completing the run you will come back over the bridge and hop on your bike to do a lap around Harlinsdale on the pavement/gravel. We hope to see you there!
