About the Event

Learn about boiling water bath and pressure canning, dehydrating and freezing in this lecture class. Includes demonstration of equipment.

Now that vegetable gardens and farms are producing a generous harvest, storing and preserving those vegetables extends the bounty so you can enjoy the rewards throughout the year. There are many methods of preserving vegetables and fruits-some easy and some a bit more involved. Come learn about both boiling water bath canning and pressure canning, deydrating and freezing in this 1 1/2 hour class.
