Relax on Thursday evenings mid-May through October at Flowers After 5. 2024 Performance Dates: May 16, 23\*, \(no Flowers After 5 concert May 30\*\*\) June 6, 13\*, 20, 27\* July \(no concert July 4\*\*\*\), 11\*, 18, 25\* August 1, 8\*, 15, \(no concert Aug. 22\*\*\), 29 September 5, 12\*, \(no concert Sept. 19\*\*\*\*\), 26\* October 3, 10\*, 17, 24\* \*The second and fourth Thursday nights are also Fidos After 5 evenings when the Garden partners with the Richmond SPCA and leashed dogs are allowed. Fidos Nights for 2024 are May 23; June 13 & 27; July 11 & 25; August 8; September 12 & 26; October 10 & 24. \*\*There is no Flowers After 5 on May 30 and Aug. 22 due to Groovin’ in the Garden. \*\*\*There is no Flowers After 5 on July 4 due to Free Fourth of July. \*\*\*\*There is no Flowers After 5 on Sept. 19 due to the Fall Plant Sale. Admission Admission to this event is regular Garden admission. You can purchase tickets at the Guest Services desk in the Robins Visitors Center Members enjoy free admission; not a member? Consider joining. The event is rain or shine; no refunds. In cases of hazardous weather, the event would be canceled. It’s summertime in Richmond, so we monitor the weather very closely and if there is a high likelihood of strong storms during Flowers After 5, we make the decision to cancel, based on the forecast. We post the information as quickly as possible to the website and social media; it’s always a good idea to check before you come! Hours Garden open until 9 p.m.: Evenings in the Garden are spectacular–the perfect outing for families, friends, or a date night! The Garden Shop may have some extended hours as well, so be sure to check when you visit. Live Music Live music 5-8 p.m.: Listen to a diverse mix of live music throughout the season, featuring local and regional acts. Performers play at Bloemendaal House, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets and spread out on the lawn or under a shady tree. There are a limited number of chairs and tables available on a first-come, first-served basis. See performer line-up below. Food & Drink PLEASE NOTE: Outside food and drink are not allowed to be brought into the Garden. Food and drink 5-8 p.m.: available for purchase at the concert site under the Bloemendaal House tent. There will also be bars at the concert site. Alcohol sales end at 7:45 p.m.
