Join us for an extremely special night as we proudly present France versus Mexico, on the plate in six courses. This will be a playful nod to Cinco de Mayo and a celebration of countries, cuisine and two stellar chefs who have made an incredible impact in the Medina area.

Chef Lionel Heydel hailing from Alsace, France is a food educator, private chef, consultant and founder of ichefusa. www.ichefusa.com

Chef Leonel Rosario hails from Oaxaca Mexico. He started Mariachi de Oro restaurant with his family here in Medina and now owns and runs Maizal Mexican Kitchen and Mezcalaria in
Amherst with his wife Lola.

Winemaker/Cidermaker Jonathan Oakes will be your host for the evening, accompanying you on this gastronomic carnival ride. Each course will be expertly paired with wine or cider and a possibly a few surprises. We will discuss farming practices, terroir and the chemistry of proper food and beverage pairing.
