Join GrowNYC for a unique training to connect the local food system to your classroom. This free opportunity is specifically designed for educators to be able to guide their students through a Greenmarket on their own.
Attendees will get an in-person guided tour of the Brooklyn Borough Hall Greenmarket, as well as participating in a cooking demo with locally grown food. This event is great for teachers and garden educators involved in NYC DOE K-12 schools who are looking to bring food education and basic cooking demos to their classrooms.
