Ask a Native Plant Aficionado - Plants for Wildlife at LOTUS Farm & Garden

Plants for Wildlife is hosting experienced native plant gardener volunteers at each of our plant kiosks during the spring planting season! Whether you are a beginner just starting out or a more seasoned gardener with a plant problem to troubleshoot, we’d like to help. Please stop by and chat with our Native Plant Aficionados!  The Aficionado at our LOTUS Farm & Garden kiosk is Stacia Payne. Stacia has more than 15 years of experience in garden center operations. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Native Plants from the North Carolina Botanical Garden, interns with the Buncombe County Master Gardeners and is an active volunteer at Bee City USA - Asheville. Plants for Wildlife is a pilot project, connecting local nurseries with local retailers to make it easier for shoppers to find native plants. Currently, M. R. Gardens plants are available for purchase at each of our locations.
