About the Event

It's almost time for the Asheville Botanical Garden's spring plant sale, less than two weeks away!  On Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, you'll have the chance to buy beautiful native plants grown by the Asheville Botanical Garden and regional plant vendors. We will have a huge variety of native flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance your garden. Thousands of plants will be on sale from Tanager Plants, Saturnia Farm, Flower Moon Nursery, Milkweed Meadows \(Friday only\), Sandy Mush Herb Nursery, Mountain Mist Nursery, Carolina Native Nursery, and Joe Pye Nursery, well as plants grown by the ABG.  This is a benefit event for the Garden, Asheville's unique native plant sanctuary, which is supported by our community through memberships, donations, and volunteers, as well as our plant and gift shop sales.  During the sale, you can visit the Garden Path Gift Shop, as well, for a great selection of nature-related gifts created by local artists and artisans. Your purchases will support the Garden, wild birds, and local pollinators, too!  The ABG is a membership organization, with memberships starting at only $40 per year. ABG members get a 10% discount on ABG-grown plants, sold at the gazebo. You can become a member online or during the sale and get your discount immediately.  Membership also gives you a 10% discount on gift shop purchases and a 25% discount on classes. Free parking and planting advice on site. Come early for the best selection of unusual natives!  When: Friday, May 3, noon to 6 p.m. & Saturday, May 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Where: Asheville Botanical Garden, 151 W. T. Weaver Blvd., Asheville, NC 28804  Want more info? Visit our website at https://ashevillebotanicalgardens.org/events-classes/plant-sales/.
