An Educational Tour of a Successful Native Landscape with Greg Rubin
About the Event
A member's-only rare oportunity to stroll through a thriving native garden, discussing the appropriate design, installation, and maintenance considerations that made it a success, and how those techniques may differ from typical ornamental landscaping.. People are encouraged to bring something to take notes, with real "head-scratcher" moments being anticipated. Greg really encourages questions and enjoys discussing these concepts, some of which may be completely new to people. He'll be prepared to fully explain the justifications for each. Greg may also show us some basic maintenance techniques on a few plants, post surgical limitations allowing.
Happy Hour to follow where we will have a round table discussion about CA natives in general.
*Garden / Event Location address will be sent to registered attendees the day before the tour.
