"A Long Expected Party," inspired by the beloved world of hobbits, is an exclusive outdoor dinner event on September 21, 2024. The event will celebrate local agriculture and culinary artistry, headlined by renowned open-fire chef Sarah Rennie. Taking place on a picturesque farm, the event promises a hobbit-themed atmosphere with 111 guests dressed as hobbits.

Spanning 6 hours, from 4 PM to 10 PM, the evening features a buffet-style dinner with menu items such as sausages, crispy bacon, lembas bread, fried tomatoes, and many more hobbit favorites. A variety of activities will be available for guests to enjoy, including the re-creation of famous Lord of the Rings food scenes. Various seating options will be provided, including picnic tables for those who prefer traditional seating and cozy picnic blankets with tea tables for an authentic Shire experience.

This event is not just a celebration of food and fantasy but a meaningful endeavor to support and showcase local farming communities through a unique and engaging experience.
