💐 Mother’s Day Meditation & Sound Bath in Pine Forest Hammocks

Honor the many expressions of motherhood during this Mother’s Day–themed Meditation & Sound Bath at Jaybird Hammock Farm. This nurturing evening is an invitation to slow down and reflect—whether you’re honoring and treating your mom, celebrating yourself as a mother, sharing the experience with friends, or holding space for the memory of your mom. All forms of motherhood and care are welcome here.

Upon arrival, guests gather by the pond firepit to ease into the evening. Enjoy light refreshments, roast marshmallows by the fire 🔥, and spend time visiting with and feeding the goats and donkeys 🐐🐴 farm-approved treats while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm.

Once all guests have arrived, Tina Jenkins, owner of Jaybird Hammock Farm, will offer a warm welcome and share a brief reflection on the land and the intention of the evening. Together, we’ll take a slow, mindful walk along the nature trail into the pine forest (approximately a ¾-mile round trip), allowing space for conversation, quiet reflection, and connection.

In the pine forest clearing, you’ll settle into cozy hammocks beneath towering pines for a guided meditation and crystal bowl sound bath. The soothing tones and gentle rhythms support rest, emotional nourishment, and deep relaxation—an offering of care for those who so often care for others. This portion of the experience lasts about one hour, with the full gathering spanning 90–120 minutes, including arrival and the forest walk.

🕯️ Arrival & Participation

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the event start time to check in and sign a waiver
• Park at the barn and gather at the seating area near the pond
• Be prepared to carry your belongings along the trail to the hammock area

👗 Attire

Attire is intentionally relaxed and comfort-centered. Pajamas, robes, and cozy, comfortable clothing are welcome and encouraged—dress in a way that allows your body to fully soften and rest. Please wear shoes appropriate for a ¾-mile round-trip walk along our natural trail.

🌧️ Weather Cancellations

Florida weather is unpredictable, and weather-related cancellations at Jaybird Hammock Farm are never made lightly. We consider on-site conditions like standing water and setup timing when making these decisions—not forecasts alone. We know cancellations can disrupt your travel, hotel, or childcare plans, just as they impact our small farm’s revenue. We’ve experienced guest frustration when the call is made too early and the weather clears, and also when it’s made last-minute. There’s no perfect moment—but we always do our best to make a thoughtful, safety-based decision. Once a cancellation is made, it is final. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Reschedules or refunds will be offered.
