About the Farm

Background

Located in the heart of South Florida's historic agriculture district, Three Sisters Farm is known for its unique ownership by a Chef-Farmer who prioritizes growing crops for their culinary value rather than commercial marketability. Established in 2001, the farm has been organically operated and has become a food paradise worth visiting.

Practices

Three Sisters Farm employs organic farming methods on its five-acre mixed fruit tree orchard, which includes lychee, longan, jackfruit, jaboticaba, sapodilla, black sapote, and carambola. The farm also maintains established food forests of plantain, bananas, sugarcane, and other tropical fruits. Tropical roots and vegetables such as malanga, yucca, boniato, dasheen, name, chayote, calabaza, and callaloo are grown year-round, while temperate vegetables like carrots, beets, cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers, and tomatoes are cultivated from October to May.

The Rest

Visitors can make reservations for exclusive Farm Meals and Tours, where Chef Jonathan offers a unique experience of tasting menus grown from scratch and prepared over a wood fire. The farm also offers products like dried jackfruit and mango jam for sale.
