About the Farm
Background
The family has lived in Prince William County for over 20 years. After residing in a typical suburban neighborhood, they moved to 10 wooded acres outside of Manassas in Nokesville, VA in 2019 and built their new home. They are proud participants in the Nokesville Farm Stand Tour and are listed with Visit Prince William, PWC Tourism, as a local farm attraction.
Practices
The farm features a large garden with vegetables and flowers, a flock of laying hens with 12 different breeds producing a variety of colored eggs, and a small herd of meat goats, including registered Boer goats. Each spring to fall season, they raise a small parcel of Berkshire mix hogs. They emphasize contactless pickup and weekend farm stand hours.
The Rest
Farm tours are available on a limited basis, allowing visitors to interact with the animals. Photo sessions at the farm, including sunflower sessions, are available through Libby Benson Photography. Customers can reserve products for contactless pickup and are encouraged to check the farm's Facebook page for farm stand hours.
