About the Farm
Background
Located in the Upper Portneuf River Valley near the Historic Chesterfield town site and the Oregon Trail, this ranch has established itself as a small scale ranching outfit in South Eastern Idaho. Known for its high quality grass finished beef, lamb, and raw dairy products, the ranch takes pride in getting to know each of its customers and sharing its products with them.
Practices
The ranch adheres to strict farming practices, raising non-GMO livestock without the use of corn, soy, antibiotics, or growth hormones. The milking herd consists of A2/A2 Jersey cows, and the ranch produces cheese, butter, and whole cream line milk. All animals, including pastured chickens and free range eggs, are raised naturally.
The Rest
In addition to beef and dairy, the ranch offers natural pork, shallots, and onions. Licensed to sell raw milk and butter, the ranch provides a variety of high quality ingredients for the kitchen.
