About the Farm
Background
Formerly known as Thompson Orchard, the farm was purchased by James and Sandra Robertson in the winter of 2014. They continued the work started by the previous owner, Howard Thompson, and brought in family members to assist with the farm operations. The farm is known for its blueberries, peaches, and honey, and participates in the Webb City Farmer's Market.
Practices
The farm emphasizes hands-on family involvement in all aspects of its operations. They have recently introduced beekeeping, with Luke and Bre Robertson installing 15 nukes into freshly prepared homes. Plans are in place to become a certified honey house. The farm also offers U-pick opportunities for blueberries and other produce.
The Rest
The farm will be open to the public in early June, with berries also available at the Webb City Farmer's Market. Visitors can expect a family-friendly environment with contributions from various family members, including children and extended relatives.
