About the Farm

Background

The farm began its journey in 2013 with a focus on creating a safe and self-sustaining place to raise a family and teach the next generation about food origins. Initially starting with homesteading, the farm aimed to provide transparency in food sourcing and share its products with the local community.

Practices

Inspired by Joel Salatin, the farm employs rotational grazing systems for chickens, turkeys, and cows, ensuring that animals are pasture-raised. They use locally grown and milled feed from Manning, though it is not currently organic or non-GMO. The farm is actively seeking non-GMO and organic feed sources. No antibiotics or added hormones are used, and animals are raised holistically.

The Rest

The farm plans to expand its product list year after year and encourages the community to follow their journey on Facebook.
